Our Story

NV design + construction evolved from NV Properties, our design-led, property development company, which we established in 1997. Chartered Architect Farahbod Nakhaei and business partner Homan Varghaei are the driving force behind the company and their desire is to not only deliver the best architectural solutions and striking contemporary spaces, but to ensure that they are built as well as they look.

Our skill in creating places characterised by imagination and intuitive design has led to us being regarded as one of the most exciting and innovative design and construction contractors working in Scotland. We bring together a talented team of highly professional architects and construction experts for each project and we pride ourselves on our extensive experience in restoration, conversion, construction and interior design. We believe it is this winning combination that makes us stand out from the competition.

As Farahbod says, "From our extensive work within the residential sector, we have always considered more deeply the dynamic of what living in one of our properties would be like. We believe that a thoughtful approach to design should take a living space beyond functionality to ensure that residents benefit from a home that is a joy to live in. These skills are transferrable and therefore, it seemed a natural progression for us to use the same bespoke approach in producing design solutions for the Dental sector."

After less than a year, and with several Dental projects now under our belt, it would appear that Farahbod´s intuition was well-placed: the response to our designs, from Clients to patients to the Dental press, has been nothing but extremely positive. With reactions like this, its no surprise that more and more Dental practices are getting in touch to see what benefits NV Design & Construction can bring to them.

I really valued their expertise and high calibre of work.
