Avondale Progress

On site progress is nearing completion. Work on the floor has began and construction is due to be completed in two to three weeks.
New milestone reached at Bathgate

We have reached a new milestone at Bathgate with the installation of a new Steel staircase and landing structure. Work is now progressing with completion due by middle of March

Builder works havebeen completed allowing the new windows to be installed. Work has begun on on repointing the stonework. Internally the plumbing heating and electrical works have begun and the first fix is progressing well.

Work on downtakings, builderwork and electrical, heating and plumbing first fix is progressing well. The works are expected to progress sufficiently to allow the first floor level of the practice to reopen in the near future.

Alteration work has started on site with extensive alterations to the ground floor of this existing dental practice, creating a DDA compliant facility. The new alterations to the property will facilitate a surgery, OPG, disabled toilet, new reception and waiting area, administration office and a consultation room.

Builder works have started after additional structural stabilisation of the existing property has had to be carried out which has caused a slight delay in progress of the works on site.

Work is progressing well and on schedule at a new dental practice in Bathgate. Work to eliminate rot within the existing frame of the buildiung has been completed allowing progress with the new internal layout of the building.

Duncan, who was completing his RIBA Architectural Part 1 placement at our office, will be leaving to further his study of architecture at university. We wish Duncan all the best for his on-going studies and success in the future.

We will be beginning the conversion of an existing two storey dwelling to form a new 3 surgery orthodontic practice. Work will begin Friday 16th September The work involves substantial structural alterations and repair to the existing fabric and installation of new steel fire escape stair to meet current building regulations. We have obtained planning permission and building warrant for a 3 surgery practice in Glasgow. Work is Scheduled to start on site soon - watch this space for more information.

Work has commenced at this project in Edinburgh with excellent progress being made. Completion date of the project is expected to be around the beginning of June so look out for pictures of the completed project soon.

We could just like to say thanks to everyone who came along to our stand at the recent dentistry show at the NEC. Our projects were very well received and we had the opportunity to meet some great potential clients, so fingers crossed there will be some projects in the pipeline as a result of attending the show.

New Premises

Following the establishment of NV Design & Construction last summer, we have marked our continuing success with a move to new premises at Clydeway House on South Street. We still can’t believe that we managed to fit all our furniture and files into the old place in Kelvindale!
